An independent game studio pushing the limits of what is possible
In other words, we are enthusiasts who dare to think big
An independent video-game studio founded in 2019 and set up as a non-profit association, Skytale brings together 80 volunteers and has no employees. We design games and events on Minecraft, which we use as a creation platform, with the game editor we develop ourselves.
The studio, in pictures
For the length of a video, we take you behind the scenes: our volunteers, our games, and the energy of a studio that does things differently.
Our latest major project

Europe's largest Minecraft LAN
Three days of Minecraft LAN at the top of the Grande Arche de la Défense, 24 to 26 July 2026: an alien crater built with the Skytale Map Editor, 27 teams sent after its machines and creatures, 20 hours of live broadcast and over a million views across the weekend.

Our great narrative adventure
The Last Artifact is our main project: an adventure and puzzle game on Minecraft, with nothing to install. Its soundtrack was recorded in Sofia by the European Recording Orchestra, 110 musicians and choristers.

我们的作品
From charity events to competitions followed by millions of players, here is what our volunteers have built, block by block.
A studio on a human scale
The teams that make up Skytale, their roles and their backgrounds.
A little game, just for fun
We had fun tucking a mini tower defense in here, a nod to Z'Wonder Battle, our charity game born at ZEvent. Defend the Chronosphere against 50 waves from Wonderland, from the card Minion to Alice herself.
Our news
The behind the scenes, the portraits and the highlights of the studio, told by the people who live them.
