Our support is built on 4 pillars: the working environment, learning, employability and social life between volunteers.
All while producing ambitious impact projects, whether awareness-raising or charitable. Our other games are free and open to everyone.
The environment
Creative freedom
Our productions do not have to turn a profit. So we can give a set, a cinematic or a mechanic the time a commercial studio could never spend on it.
Missions you choose
When you arrive, we start from your interests and skills: no imposed to-do list, missions defined with you and dedicated support.
Open to every role
No barriers between activities: documentation shared with everyone, open contribution and the chance to propose new projects (Skyjam, Artbook, documentary).
Learning
Learning by doing
You grow through the projects run within the association and the exchanges between volunteers, in a spirit of ongoing mutual support.

Upskilling programmes help newcomers get to grips with our tools and our working environment.

Young Volunteer Award
In 2022, Skytale won the audience-voted Young Volunteer of the Year Award. It's proof that there are many ways to help drive young people's engagement in the non-profit world. It's also confirmation that our project carries real meaning.
This competition showed that Skytale goes well beyond what a game studio does, combining ambition with an impact on society.
