Built on a native Minecraft mechanic, a genuine timed precision event. Hit a series of targets in a given order, managing trajectory and rhythm.

A Minecraft activation designed for MEDEF Sport. Three Olympic events in cubes, in a Paris rebuilt block by block.
Skytale at Village Olympique
A short project, but the first presented in a national institutional setting. For the first time, the studio steps into an institutional circle and speaks to partners from a world far removed from video games.
From the cubic Paris to the three events, the full presentation of the experience created for Village Olympique.

MEDEF Sport, an employers' organisation promoting sport in the workplace, wanted to carry its message further with the general public. Skytale was given a free hand, with a single requirement: promote workplace sport through video games.
Minecraft speaks to every generation. An ideal ground to reach audiences far from traditional institutional channels, and to carry the Olympic spirit differently.
The map and the gameplay were created from scratch by Skytale. Volunteers stepped in according to their skills, each taking on their part without overly strict direction.
At the end of each session, a QR code opens the profiles of the French athletes competing. The game becomes a gateway to discovering French sport.
The 3 challenges run back to back, against the clock, to set an overall time. Each one was reimagined in Minecraft's language, without betraying the spirit of the original discipline.

In Minecraft's aquatic environment, a winding course to negotiate. Find the best lines, read the current, anticipate the turns. Mastery of movement on water makes the difference.

The spectacular finale. You set off on a course through Parisian scenery, between raw speed and handling your mount. The finish line was modelled specially for the project.

The setting recreates the capital's iconic locations. The Eiffel Tower stands tall, the city's landmarks are recognisable. The blocky Paris rebuilt for the occasion plays on how familiar the places feel.
Each event has its own dedicated space, arranged around Paris's iconic features. Flags were added to convey the international dimension of the Games, work coordinated with MEDEF Sport.
An on-site project leaves no room for incidents. Development focused on polish and above all on reliability, to hold up through ten busy days without a single crash. Nearly 80% of the game was built with the Skytale Map Editor.
Ambient sound effects, polished transitions and balanced events, down to the smallest detail.
Installation scripts prepared in advance, and a technical team on site to monitor the stand live.
A deliberately simple setup, one dedicated computer, a welcoming stand you understand at a glance. For ten days, visitors ran the three events, chased the best time and discovered French athletes through the QR code.
“Some visitors even came back to try for a better time during the quieter hours.”
